Over the Spring and Summer months, debris can build up in your gutters and cause problems if not cleaned regularly. Make sure to give your gutters a good cleaning before the the Fall season begins.

Inspect Your Roof

Make sure to inspect your roof and shingles before winter snow comes and potentially damages your roof. When inspecting your roof, look for curling or brittle shingles, shingles falling off, or stones in the gutter. These can all be signs that your roof needs to be replaced.

Check Your Air Flow

Check your air flow.

It is always a good idea to check your vents, room fans, dryer vents, baseboard heaters, and HVAC units for any built up dust before your heaters are turned on for the winter. Clean these areas thoroughly to prevent dust from causing blockages.

Test Fireplace and Clean Chimney

Before you start to use your fireplace for the winter season, check to make sure it is clean and free of any debris. If you own an electric fireplace, test it to make sure it is in working condition.

Check Your Insulation
